Ingredients:
1/3 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cup milk
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine, softened (do not use a spread)
2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a 2 quart sauce pan. Combine milk and egg yolks, gradually stir in the sugar mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla. Cool slightly. This is where I’m guessing you can add dry roasted peanuts, mini marshmallows, or banana slices. Serve warm or chilled.
