1 cup butter/margarine
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF.

Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Beat until well blended. Add chips.

Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-12 minutes until edges are golden brown. Lat stand on cookie sheet for several minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.
