Topping:( pastry blend together)

> 1 c. Sugar
> 3/4 c. Flour
> 1/2 c. Butter ( softened not melted)
> 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
> 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
> 1/4 tsp Salt

Filling:

> 4 c. Tart apples ( Granny Smith)
>1/4 c.Orange Juice

1. Butter generously baking pan 8 x 8

2. Put sliced apples into baking pan .

3. Sprinkle apples with orange juice, place in butter pan

4. Top with blended sugar mixture

5. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
