1⅓ Cup White Sugar
½ Cup Butter or other Shortening
1 Cup Sweet Milk
2½ Cups Flour
3 tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
3 Egg Whites
1 tsp. extract to suit your taste (vanilla?)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour together with 3 tsp Baking Powder and 1/2 tsp salt. Add the sweet milk. In separate bowl, beat the egg whites. Add the beaten egg whites. Add the 1 tsp extract. Bake 375º for about 30 minutes or until done.
