3 cups sifted Swans
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs beaten lightly
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients and roll. Chill. Slice. Dip in or sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 450 degrees for 8 minutes
