1 cube butter or margarine softened
½ cup shortening
1½ cups sugar
2 eggs
2¾ cup flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
¼ tsp salt
2 TBSP sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º
combine 2 TBSP sugar with 2 tsp cinnamon. Set aside.
Cream together butter, shortening sugar and eggs
Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Roll into balls.
Roll balls in sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Bake 8-10 minutes.
