Mix together dry ingredients and set aside:
2 3/4 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt

Beat well following ingredients:
2 sticks Fleischman's margarine (hard to find- try Meijers. I've used Country Crock baking margarine with good results).
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
1 t vanilla

To above mixture, add one at a time:
2 eggs

Gradually add dry ingredients then stir in:
1- 12 oz bag Nestle's chocolate chips.

Place rounded tablespoons of dough (I use small cookie scoop) on an ungreased "air bake" cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes or until they begin to brown. Take out of oven and allow to sit for 2-5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet to cool on wire rack.
