1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/3 c. oats (old fashioned or quick oats, either works)
1 c. toasted rice cereal (like rice krispies)
1/2 c. raisins

1) Preheat oven to 375º

2) Beat butter and both sugars 'til smooth. Beat egg and vanilla in until well blended.

3) Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Beat until well blended.

4) Stir in oats, cereal and raisins.

5) Drop batter in heaping tablespoons 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

6) Bake 8-10 minutes until golden. (I like using around 8 minute timing as they come out softer)
