3/4 cup butter flavor shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 cups oatmeal

1 cup raisins, optional
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars.
Add egg, vanilla and water and mix well
Stir in flour, salt and baking soda
Add oatmeal and mix

Drop on greased baking sheet and bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes.
