1/2 onion, chopped

Directions:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and boil ravioli per package directions. While that is happening, chop smoked sausage into small pieces (I cut it in half, then cut it in quarters lengthwise, then chop. In a large skillet cook ravioli over med/high heat until it starts to brown, add onions and cook until onions are translucent. Add cream/milk and about 1/2 cup of water to pan. Add kale/spinach turn heat to low and lid pan for about 5 minutes or until ravioli is done boiling. When ravioli is done boiling, drain and add to large skillet, add seasoning packets from ravioli and Parmesan cheese. Make sure kale/spinach is cooked to desired doneness (can put lid on and cook another 5 or so minutes if necessary). If sauce is not thick enough, just remove lid and simmer to desired thickness. Serve hot.
