1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
2 cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine and cream butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla, mix thoroughly.

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda together. Add slowly to first mixture. until smooth. Add oatmeal, chocolate chips, and nuts. Mix thoroughly by hand if necessary. (You may need to add a little water to mixture).

Dip by spoonfuls on to greased cookie sheet about two inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.
