2 cans of Frito Lay bean dip
2 cups of freshly grated cheddar cheese
2 large avocados
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 package of taco seasoning
1 ½ cups of cherry tomatoes, quartered
½ cup of diced chilies (divided into ¼ cup and ¼ cup)
1 bunch of green onions, chopped (green parts, only)
½ cup of chopped olives
1 bag of tortilla chips (to be served with dip)

Directions:

Grate cheddar cheese (set aside)

Whip together avocados with ¼ cup of chilies (set aside)

Blend sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning together (set aside)

Layer into a 8x8 or 9x9 (or any other dish pan of your choice) dish as follows:
1. Frito Lay bean dip
2. Avocado mixture
3. Sour cream/mayonnaise mix
4. ¼ cup of chilies
5. Green onions
6. Tomatoes
7. Olives
8. Cover with grated cheddar cheese

Serve with your favorite bag tortilla chips

My grandmother Mary Jane (LaBrucherie) made this dip for all of our family holidays and special parties for decades.

After she passed away, the torch was handed down to me, and I promised to (and do ) make it for our family gatherings.
