1 ½ cup butter or margarine
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
5 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together butter, white sugar, eggs and vanilla in one bowl

Mix together flour, baking powder and salt in another bowl

Gradually add flour mixture to wet mixture
Mix well and chill one hour
Roll and cut out cookies

Heat oven to 400

Bake on un-greased cookie sheets for 6-8 minutes

Cool completely before decorating
