1 lb. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
4 ½ c. baby cereal oatmeal
3 c. plain flour
3 12 oz. pkgs. Milk chocolate chips

Directions:

Cream butter and add sugar, mixing well. Then add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in brown sugar and mix well. Add vanilla, salt, baking soda and baking powder and mix well. Add 2 c. of oatmeal and mix well. Add 1 ½ c. flour and mix well. Add 1 c. oatmeal, mixing well. Add remaining flour, mixing well. Add remaining oatmeal and beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes. This can be made into balls and frozen.
