Filling:
Liver or hamburger (whatever you prefer)
Onion
Bacon
2 Eggs
Salt
Pepper

Dough:
Flour
Salt
Water

Directions:
Directions:
Boil liver and put through a grinder. If using hamburger, brown hamburger and onion together and set aside. If using liver, in a separate bowl grind some bacon and onion, then fry this and add to liver, bacon grease and all. If using hamburg grind bacon only, fry, and add to browned hamburg and onion mixture. Add a couple of beaten eggs and salt and pepper. Mix well and put on dough. Fold dough over the filling and and cut with a cup or glass and pinch the edges. Once the edges are sealed drop them into boiling salted water and boil for about 10 minutes.

I clearly remember Grandma and Grandpa making these. I thought the liver ones were disgusting (but when your a little kid I think that's probably normal), but the hamburger ones were pretty good!
