1 cup sugar
3 tbsp corn starch
Dash of salt
2 cups Pet milk (has to be Pet – other milk won’t have same taste)
1 tsp vanilla
6 tbsp cocoa + 2 tbsp butter
2tbsp butter (add at end)
3 eggs separated
Pie crust (baked)
Lightly beat egg yolks and set aside

Mix sugar, salt, corn starch and cocoa with butter in sauce pan. Slowly stir in milk. Heat to boiling over medium heat stirring constantly to prevent scorching, heat for 2 minutes, remove from heat. Stir in a small amount of pudding mixture into egg yolks, return to rest of pudding mixture, heat for another 2 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in 2 tbsp butter and vanilla flavoring and pour into baked pie crust. Top with Meringue.

3 egg whites at room temperature
6 tbsp Sugar
¼ tsp Cream of Tartar
½ tsp vanilla

Directions:

Stir egg whites, vanilla and cream of tartar on high until soft peaks form, slowly stir in sugar and stir until stiff peaks form. Top pie and seal the edges. Bake at 350 until meringue is golden brown (12-15 minutes)
