Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3/4 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 cups sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
10 T cocoa

Divide the dough into 2 halves

2 additional cups sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together then butter and sugar. Add eggs and milk, and then flour, baking powder, nutmeg, salt, cocoa, and finish with the additional flour.

If you want to make half chocolate and half white, then divide the dough in half after adding the salt, but before adding the cocoa (only 5 T).

IAdd only 1 additional cup of flour to each half of the dough as the last step.

When you roll these out, you will need to work with more flour because the dough tends to be soft and sticky.

Personal Notes:
We love to make these as Christmas cookies and frost them in different colored frosting. The older they get, the softer they get. And they taste amazing!
