1 cup persimmon pulp
1 cup ground nuts
1 cup raisins
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup wesson oil
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in persimmon pulp
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add nuts and raisins to flour. Beat egg and add to dry ingregients.

Drop onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
