1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup persimmon pulp
1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in egg and persimmon pulp. Add dry ingredients and add nuts and raisins.

Drop by the teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes

or at 375 degrees for 15 minutes

This was Kelly's favorite cookies growing up.

We left out the raisins and nuts.
