1/2 cup rolled oats; processed in blender til powdery
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 cup butter melted
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
1/2 tsp lemon juice
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine processed oatmeal, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
Stir together melted butter, brown sugar, sugar until smooth. Stir in vanilla, lemon juice and eggs. Stir until smooth, add flour mixture, chocolate chips and nuts and stir till combined.
Roll into balls and cover well and chill for at least 4 hours or over night. Place cookies well spaced on cookie sheets. Flatten slightly.
Bake at 350º for 13-17 minutes. Do not over bake - these are best a bit under done.
Cool on cookie sheet.

These can be frozen at the ball stage and take out what you want and bake from frozen :) Fresh baked cookies any time!!
