1 c. Butter
½ c. Icing sugar (and extra for rolling cookies in)
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
¼ tsp. Almond flavoring
1 tbsp. Water
1 ¾ c. Flour
¾ c. Almonds, ground

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300º
2. Cream butter and icing sugar
3. Beat in vanilla, almond flavoring, and water
4. Blend in flour and ground almonds
5. Chill
6. Shape dough into small moon crescents
7. Place on ungreased baking sheet
8. Bake 20 minutes until light brown
9. Roll crescents in icing sugar while still warm
