2 cups peanut butter (I prefer crunchy)
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 lightly beaten egg
1 c chocolate chips(optional)
1 c peanuts(optional)
Directions:
Directions:
mix peanut butter, sugar,salt,vanilla and egg together, will look much like softer
peanut butter
May add whole peanuts and /or chocolate chips to batter, I add both!
using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, make small balls and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet
flatten each ball with a fork dipped in some sugar mixed with a smaller amount of salt
place in 350 degree oven for 11-12 min
these cookies are very soft right out ot the oven and need to wait to firm up for a couple of minutes, then remove and place on rack to cool

these are the best peanut butter cookies I have ever had... loved by many, and are gluten free..won first place in the Ventura county fair in the gluten free category 2019
