2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 - 12 ounce package of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredient together and set aside. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with dairy sour cream. Add nuts and chocolate chips. Blend well. Drop by rounded teaspoon full on buttered cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown in a 375º oven. Remove from cookie sheet at once and cool on cooling rack.
