2 boneless Rib Eye Steaks 1 1/2" to 2" thick
1 bottle (or more) 57 Sauce
Fresh lemon(s)
Garlic
Butter
Worcestershire Sauce
Garlic Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare steaks by rubbing both sides with cut garlic, then make tiny slits in meat and insert slices of garlic
Places pats of butter on top of meat and season with garlic salt and pepper. Prepare both sides of meat in this manner
Broil meat and remove from broiler several minutes before desired doneness
Let meat rest while preparing sauce. In broiler pan mix a bottle of 57 sauce, 1/2 stick butter (melted), 3-4 splashes of Worcestershire and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice (not too much). Taste and add more butter if necessary. Place steaks directly in sauce and cook several minutes in broiler until sauce is bubbly.

Serve with french fries, white rice and mixed salad

Enjoy with a fine bottle of wine or open another if the cook has already imbibed.

Michael's grandmother got this recipe from a chef in New Orleans years ago. All members of the family have made their own personal adjustments, but Michael's is a winner.
