½ c. sugar
½ c. margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. orange extract
2½ - 2¾ c. unsifted flour
5 - 6 whole blanched almonds, halved

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven to 375°.
Cream together sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add eggs and orange extract. Mix well. Gradually add enough flour to form stiff dough. REFRIGERATE, COVERED, UNTIL WELL CHILLED, SEVERAL HOURS OR OVERNIGHT. Dividie dough into 10 to 12 balls. Roll each ball into a "finger". Make small cuts with sharp knife to resemble wrinkles and knuckles. Press (hard) on one almond half into end of dough for "fingernail". Bake on ungreased baking sheet 7 - 12 minutes.
