Dissolve 3 to 5 cakes of yeast foam and 3 TBSP sugar in 1 pt. of lukewarm water. Keep in warm place 12 hours. Stir well. Strain through cheese cloth several times with water and throw away solid particles. To dissolve yeast, to rinse water add bottle of root beer extract. 4 lbs. sugar 5 gallons of lukewarm water. Mix thoroughly and bottle at once. Keep in a warm place for 48 to 72 hours. Cool for use and keep in cold place.
