2 cups flour
1 TSP soda
1/2 TSP salt
1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup butter
2 eggs
4 TBSP cream
1 TSP almond flavoring
1 TSP vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening into dry ingredients with a pastry blender ( or two knives) until mixture has the appearance of small peas. Beat eggs and cream together add to dry ingredients and mix well. Add flavorings and mix lightly. Dough will be fairly stiff for easy handling.


Frosting
2 Egg whites
4 cups powdered sugar
1 TSP almond flavering
2 TBSP water

Mix ingredients with electric mixer until fluffy. The frosting should have the consistency of thick paint.
