1 (32 oz) pkg frozen southern style hash browns
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
4 c diced cooked chicken
1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 c sour cream (8 oz)
2 c chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
2 tsp instant chicken bouillion granules
2 tbsp fine chopped onion
2 tbsp fine chopped sweet red pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 c sliced almonds

Thaw hash browns. Layer in ungreased 13 x 9 pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place chicken and mushrooms over hash browns. Stir together sour cream, broth, soup, bouillion, onion, red pepper and garlic. Pour over all. Sprinkle with paprika and almonds. Bake, uncovered at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
