1 egg
1 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
3 tsp baking powder
3 tsp. Anise Extract
3 c. flour


ANISE FROSTING
½ box confectioner's sugar
2 tsp. margarine
1 tsp. crisco
milk to consistency
1 tsp. anise flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together and beat until smooth. Drop heaping tsp. on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 450º oven for about 5 minutes. Watch very carefully. They over bake fast.

Frosting:
mix ingredients and spread over cool cookies.
