2 c. butter
6 oz cream cheese
1 c. sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 c. flour

Directions:
Cream butter and cream cheese together. Add sugar, mix well. Add vanilla. Slowly add flour. Mix well and chill.

Using single hole plate (star shape or round) in cookie press. Form circle, crossing ends to make wreath. Put on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375ºF for 6 minutes top self of oven. Bottom self of oven 325º for 8-10 minutes.
Ice cookies with powdered sugar icing where ends cross.
Side note from A. Jenny... "I think the dough goes through the cookie press better if dough isn't chilled. "

This is Aunt Jenny's recipe. Chris (her neice) loved these cookies. As a little girl, I remember the bed just covered with shirt boxes filled with cookies and candies. This cookie was always in one of the boxes
