1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 1/2-3 cups flour
2 teaspoon cream tartar
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Filling
1 cup raisins
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons flour
1/2 cup hot water

Directions:
Make cookie dough, chill
Make filling cook until thick allow to cool
Roll dough out and cut into circles place one on pan place a teaspoon of filling in center add another cookie to top and press down on edges to seal. Repeat process for each one you'll end up with about 30 cookies.
Bake 375º for 10-12 minutes
