Notes: This recipe was given to me by Christy Turner's Great Grandma Fausett. (Dave Miller's maternal grandmother.)
She served this to me as part of lunch the first time Dave took me to meet her at her home in Osawatomie, Kansas in 1969. She served a big lunch with roast beef, green beans (cooked with bacon in a pressure cooker) and this salad. I know there was dessert but I can't remember what she served.
I've attached her handwritten copy of the recipe.
