5 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
1/2 cup Crisco
1/2 cup butter (can use margarine if you wish)
11/2 teaspoons vanilla (use white vanilla if the frosting is to be white)
3 tablespoons milk

Directions:
Directions:
Creme crisco & butter (I use my mixer)
Add the vanilla.
Add 1 cup of powdered sugar at a time, beating after each cup. (it will be dry).
Add the milk and continue beating a few minutes till fluffy.
Keep covered (Saran of damp cloth) to keep from drying out.
ill keep a couple weeks in fridge.
