1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and blended. Beat in egg and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually beat into creamed mixture. Shape dough into two portions, disk shaped. Wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm enough to roll. On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion of the dough to 1/4 inch of thickness. Cut with Halloween shaped cookie cutters. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are light brown. Remove from pans to wire rack to cool completely.

Frosting: In a small bowl, stir together confectioners sugar and milk until smooth. Beat in corn syrup and almond extract until icing is smooth and glossy. If icing is too thick, add more corn syrup.
