Scald 1 C Milk. Then add to this ¼ C softened Butter, ½ C Sugar, and 1 teas Salt.
Let cool. Beat 2 Eggs with an electric mixer. Add the Milk mixture and 2 C Flour.
Beat Well. Add 2 packages of Yeast that has been dissolved in ¼ C warm water.
Beat again. Add the rest of the Flour (about 2 more cups). Knead lightly by hand.

Let rise once until dough is double in size. Divide dough into 3 parts. Roll each part
into a circle. Butter each circle, generously, with soft butter. Cut each circle into 4ths. Cut each 4th into 3 sections. Roll each section from large end to small end. Place on a cookie sheet. Let dough rise again until doubled in size. Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Take out of oven and butter tops with softened Butter. Makes 36 rolls.

Back in the days when Grandma Huck baked, she made these delicious Butter Tea Rolls. They were always a family favorite! I have never been able to master the art
of making these rolls to be as good as Mom's!
