1 cup shortening
1/2 white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups + 4 tbsp Flour
1 (6 ounces) Semi Sweet Chocolate chips

Combine the shortening, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and eggs. Beat until creamy and add the soda, salt and blend in the flour. Add chocolate chips. Put on ungreased cookie Sheet with a teaspoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
