Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
2 1/2-3 cups self-rising flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cornstarch
Combine and set aside

1 C. Softened (room temp) butter
Beat until light and fluffy

Add to butter:
1 1/2 C. Brown sugar
1/2 C. White sugar
2 eggs
2 (overflowing) tsp vanilla
1 bag choc. chips (Hershey's brand is best— semi-sweet or special dark)

Directions:

Stir in flour mixture gradually, mixing by hand or with dough hook so flour doesn't get over-mixed

Roll into balls, if dough sticks to your hands add more flour a few tablespoons at a time until dough no longer feels sticky. (Like play dough)

Refrigerate for at least 30 mins.

Place cookie dough on sheet.

Bake at 350 for 9-11 mins or until tops of cookies no longer look wet/shiny

Sprinkle some sea salt on them while they cool.

Let them cool for 2 mins on the cookie sheet and 5 mins (or until you can't take it anymore) on a cooling rack.
