1 white boxed cake mix
½ c of vegetable oil
4 eggs
3 oz. package of strawberry gelatin
3 tbsp. flour
1 10 oz. package frozen strawberries in syrup (or in sugar), thawed

For topping-
48 oz (3 x 16 oz packages) frozen strawberries in syrup (or in sugar), thawed

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º F. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 cake pan.
2. Put cake mix, oil and eggs into a mixing bowl and beat for 2 minutes on medium speed.
3. Combine gelatin and flour; set aside.
4. Drain the 10 oz package of strawberries well, reserving syrup. Set the strawberries and ½ cup of the syrup aside.
5. Drain the rest of the strawberries well, reserving the syrup.
6. Add gelatin mixture, strawberries and ½ cup reserved syrup to the batter and beat for 1 minute.
7. Pour batter into the pan. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
8. Cool cake for 5 minutes then remove and cool on wire rack.
9. Top the cake with the rest of the drained strawberries.

Serve cake with some of the syrup spooned over each slice as desired.
