1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup sour cream
1 cup chopped pecans
4 cups flour
2 cups light brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
COMBINE all dry ingredients except brown sugar. Cream sugar adn shortening. Add eggs and beat well. Add flour and alternate with sour cream. Add nuts. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees F.
