2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
2 eggs, well-beaten
6-8 c. broth of choice (chicken, beef, ham, etc)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and salt. Gradually add eggs while stirring flour with a fork to make tiny dumplings (rivels). Boil broth and then pour the dumplings mixture in gradually (avoid adding loose flour, which will just thicken the broth). Stir gently and then turn heat to low. Cook 10 minutes.

*This is good with homemade bone broth, whether from a leftover whole chicken, ham hocks, or beef marrow bones; or use vegetable stock for a vegetarian option.
