1 Stick of Oleo
1 cup sugar
½ t salt
1 egg (beaten)
½ cup mashed potatoes
½ cup Cottage Cheese
½ t nutmeg
1 t lemon extract
4 t baking powder
4 cups flour
1 cup Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shorting sugar and salt.

Add beaten egg.

Mix potatoes and cottage cheese together, add shortening mixture.

Add flavorings, mix baking powder with 1st cup of flour.

Add flour alternating with milk.

Drop by teaspoonfuls in Crisco oil at 365 degrees. Turn when edge looks brown. Cool on paper towels.

Sugar. (use paper or plastic bag to sugar).
