Start 3 days before they're to be used.

First day- Boil 8 medium potatoes in their jackets .Just till done. Refrigerate.

2nd day- Peel and grate potatoes with medium sized mild onion. Mix in 1 C melted butter, very carefully. Add 1/2 pint half and half and 1/2 pint coffee cream. Salt. Place in 9 X 13 pan. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover with foil and refrigerate over night.

3rd day- Bake at 350 for one hour.
