3 tsp. flour
½ cup milk



½ cup crisco or butter
½ cup sugar


1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place flour in sauce pan or top of double boiler. Stirr in milk. Cook until thick, stirring constantly with wire wisp

Remove from heat and cool, continuing to stir occasionally. Cool completely.

Cream sugar and crisco or butter until no sugar grains are detected

Combine thickening and creamed mixture and add vanilla

Beat with electic mixer untill fluffy.

I use butter, this is great filling for Gobs. This recipe frosts a 9 x 13 cake.
