1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 C flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 C butter or shortening
2 C sugar
3 eggs- beaten well
4 squares unsweetened chocolate- melted
1 C water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder and soda, and salt. Put aside
Cream the butter- then add sugar gradually- creaming thoroughly- add eggs and beat very well.
Add chocolate and blend
Add flour mix alternating with the water- a small amount at a time. Beating after each addition until smooth. Add vanilla
Bake in greased 10x10x2 pan 325º 70 mins
