1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
3 egg whites
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Boil together sugar, water, and vinegar to 238 degrees or until syrup spins a lone thread when dropped from tip of spoon. Beat egg whites stiff. Gradually add syrup beating constantly until frosting holds shpe. Add salt and valilla. Makes enough to fill and frost 2 9 inch cake layers.
