Ingredients:  
½ cup crisco
½ cup butter
½ tsp vanilla
¼ cup dark brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 cup flour

1 egg white

Directions:
Directions:
Roll ingredients into balls. Beat 1 egg white not too stiff. Baste over tops of balls before putting into oven. Bake for 5 minutes. Remove from pan and press your thumb in middle of ball. Bake 8 minutes or more until brown. Then fill middle with jelly.
