3 Eggs
3 cups Flour (all purpose)
1 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup nuts (chopped) or sliced almonds
1 tsp Grated Orange Peel
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Ground Cloves
1/8 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Baking Powder

Directions:
Directions:
Stir eggs and sugar together until frothy
Combine with almonds/pecans and orange peel
Add spices, pepper, baking powder and flour and mix well

Preheat oven to 300 degrees

Put on lightly floured board and knead into dough

Grease baking sheet

Roll out dough and cut with biscuit cutter about the size of a half dollar or cut into strips and place on cookie sheet

Bake for 30 minutes

The dough will be extremely dry. You can put in enough water only to hold it together. If you put too much water they will not be hard enough when baked.

Chop the nuts fine but not until they turn into powder

Cut strips long enough to use them for soaking. This is not a dunking cookie. You need to soak them or your dental work could be at risk
