2 cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp. Baking soda
½ tsp. salt
⅔ cup butter, softened
½ cup sugar
⅔ cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbls. vanilla extract
2 cups milk chocolate chips
FILLING:
1 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Spray a 9 x 9 with non-stick cooking spray and line with parchment paper or tin foil.
Whisk together flour, baking soda and salt for crust. Set aside.
Cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and whip to incorporate. Add flour mixture and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips.
Blend the filling ingredients, cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla and beat until well blended. Set aside.
Press 2/3 of mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even layer. Spread the filling mixture over the cookie dough layer and level. Crumble remaining cookie dough over the filling layer.
Bake for 40 minutes, or until cheesecake is set and cookie dough is golden brown.
Allow to cool completely and chill before slicing.
