Cake Portion

9 eggs
½ cup of oil
¾ cup of cold water
1 tsp. of vanilla
1 tsp. of maple flavouring
1 ½ cup of cake and pastry flour
3 tsp. of baking powder
½ cup of sugar
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 cup of finely ground walnuts

1. You have to separate all the yolks from all the egg whites from the 9 eggs.

2. In a bowl, add 3 egg yolks with a ½ cup of oil, ¾ cup of cold water, 1 tsp. of vanilla and 1 tsp. of maple flavouring.

3. In another bowl, add the 1 ½ cup of cake and pastry flour and the 3 tsp. of baking powder and then the ½ cup of sugar. Mix it and then put it to the side.

4. In a third bowl, add the 3 egg whites and the 1 tsp. of cream of tartar. Beat until it is white and thick. Slowly add in ½ a cup of sugar and then beat until stiff.

5. Mix flour mixture with egg yolk mixture for 2 minutes. Then add the egg yolk mixture into the egg white mixture gently but quickly. Then add the 1 cup of finely ground walnuts.
 

Icing

2 cups of icing sugar
2 big tbsp. of corn starch
1 big tbsp. of coca
½ lb. of butter

Directions:

1. For the icing include the other eggs and the 2 cups of icing sugar and the 2 big tbsp. of cornstarch and the 1 big tbsp. of cocoa. Then beat eggs and beat ingredients until it is smooth.

2. Cook mixture in the microwave until thick (6-8 minutes) and whisk constantly.

3. Finally, let it cool and whip up ½ lb. of butter until thick. Beat cold egg mixture into the butter and mix together!
