4 Eggs
2 pds of Candied Cherries
2 pds of Dates-Chopped
2 pds of Candied Pineapple
1 cup Whiskey
1 ½ cups of Brown Sugar
6 cups Pecans-Chopped
1 tsp each: Cinnamon, Cloves, Allspice & Nutmeg
3 tsp of Soda
1 stick Oleo
2 tbsp. of Sweet Milk
4 cups of Flour - use 1 cup to mix the fruit in

Work butter until soft, add sugar & eggs, beat after each egg. Sift flour together with dry ingredients. Mix alternately with whiskey. Drop on greased cookie sheet & bake at 275º for about 20 minutes.
